Making the jump from early intervention to preschool
Sean Kopanski, now 4, was referred from the birth-to-three program to the three-to-five program through the Chester County (PA) Intermediate Unit in the spring of 2008. Once in preschool, Sean began receiving occupational therapy through the CCIU's contract with Austill's Rehabilitation Services Inc. of Exton, PA, for developmental delays including fine-motor delays. Here with Stephanie Klenk, MS, OTR/L, pediatric coordinator with Austill's, Sean demonstrates some of his fine- and gross-motor skills.
