When were you diagnosed with autism? When I was 3 years old I was diagnosed with Autism
When did you begin singing and playing guitar? I started performing when I was a teenager
How did you become involved with Flame? I won the Lexington Center talent show and the Recreation Director asked me if I would be in a band.
What is your favorite song to perform? All For A Reason, I wrote that song
Who is your favorite musician/singer/band? The Eagles
What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? The Glove Theatre, Gloversville, NY
What do you do with your time outside of the band? Shop, spend time with my mom
What are your hopes and dreams for the band's future? Keep playing music

Were you born blind? Yes.
When did you begin playing the drums? When I was 14 I started playing drums at the Batavia School for the blind
How did you become involved with Flame? The Recreation Department at Lexington Center
What is your favorite song to perform? Keep Your Hands to Yourself
Who is your favorite musician/singer/band? America
What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? Performing at the "Glove Theatre", Gloversville, NY
What do you do with your time outside of the band? Bowl, work in the workshop and socialize with my friends.
What are your hopes and dreams for the band's future? To perform in Japan

Falon McBride

When did you first receive your disability diagnosis? I was born with Arthrogryposis; I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder and mentally challenged as a child.
When did you begin playing percussion and singing? I have been singing as I long as I can remember. My grandfather was a drummer and taught me percussion.
How did you become involved with Flame? My house staff had me audition in 2003
What is your favorite song to perform? Hit Me With Your Best Shot
Who is your favorite musician/singer/band? Pink
What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? I enjoy performing at schools, I love seeing the kids get into our music
What do you do with your time outside of the band? Volunteer at a Nursing Home, as I want to become a CNA. I listen to music and spend time with my family.
What are your hopes and dreams for the band's future? I want to keep performing and become rich.

Scott Stuart

Were you born blind? No - shortly after birth the Doctors gave me too much oxygen damaging my eyes
When did you receive your CP diagnosis? When I was a couple months old
When did you begin playing percussion and singing? At 12 years old

What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? Boise, Idaho where we performed on stage in front of 17,000 people at the International Special Olympics Winter Games. We were able to meet Kenny G, Darius Rucker, Johny Knoxville, Scott Hamilton, Bart Conner, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Nadia Comaneci

Were you born blind? I was born blind
When did you begin singing and playing keyboard? I started singing and playing when I was a little kid
How did you become involved with Flame? I heard about Flame from another member. When I auditioned I got the job.
What is your favorite song to perform? Mony Mony
Who is your favorite musician/singer/band? Beach Boys
What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? San Antonio, TX for the SAIL (San Antonio Independent Living Center)
What do you do with your time outside of the band? I work in the shelter workshop, bowl, watch TV, listen to music, and spend time with my family.
What are your hopes and dreams for the band's future? I hope someday we have our own limo, make more CDs and travel outside of the country

When did you receive your diagnosis of Down Syndrome? At Birth
When did you begin playing percussion? I started doing percussion in 2003 when I joined Flame
How did you become involved with Flame? The Recreation Director had me play a conga with Flame and I have been involved ever since
What is your favorite song to perform? My favorite song is "Blue Suede Shoes"
What concert/venue has been your favorite so far? All of them
What do you do with your time outside of the band? I work in a sheltered work shop and spend time with my parents

When did you begin dancing? When I was 3 yrs old I took dance lessons
How did you become involved with Flame? Through the Recreation Department at our Center

When did you first receive your disability diagnosis? I suffered from an illness at 6 months old causing seizures. I was diagnosed with a mental disability at the age of 2.
How did you become involved with Flame? The Recreation Director asked me to dance with Flame in 2003
