Workplace violence has gained recognition as a distinct category of violent crime that requires specific responses from employers, law enforcement and the community according to the Department of Labor, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Learn about the risks of workplace violence in healthcare and what you can do about it.

About the presenter: Sheila Wilson has worked in numerous inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experienced workplace violence firsthand. She has been a member of a workplace violence task force at a community hospital and for the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) .
